An Apocalypse Zombie Story

Zombies, commonly called the living dead. But they are not necessarily truly dead people who have come back to life. They may be victims rendered unconscious with powerful drugs, then controlled through hallucinogens and hypnosis. In Haiti, for example, there are many zombie legends. In fact, sorcerers drug their victims to knock them out, then control them with hallucinogens and hypnosis. Zombies and reanimated corpses are fundamentally different. Zombies are generally transformed directly from living people, while reanimated corpses must be created from the dead. Reanimated corpses fear light, but zombies do not. Reanimated corpses move faster, while zombies move slowly, though they become extremely fast when they see living flesh and blood. Reanimated corpses are mainly found in East Asia. Neither reanimated corpses nor zombies belong to the Three Realms and Six Paths. Zombies can be understood as corpses that have not quite died. The brain, which controls thought, is severely damaged, but they can still retain some rudimentary, animal-like thinking. Much of the cerebellum remains functional, so their movements are slow but coordinated. Human weaknesses such as pain and fear are, on the other hand, entirely eliminated. Zombies are creatures that have evolved from humans with severely deteriorated brains. Their behavior is driven by the instincts of animals on Earth, such as instinctively looking for food and eliminating rivals. By comparison, reanimated corpses can think simply, rest, walk around, use tools, and live in their own territory, among other things.
