Ouran High School Host Club Fanfic Recommendations

The story takes place in the Host Club at Ouran Academy High School, an elite private school attended by the sons and daughters of the wealthy. Six handsome boys, rich and bored out of their minds, form the Host Club to entertain equally bored young ladies from wealthy families, offering them a brief taste of a glamorous, elegant world. One day, the protagonist, Haruhi Fujioka, a scholarship student from an ordinary family, wanders into the Host Club's activity room in Music Room Three while looking for a quiet place to study. Haruhi has no interest in the club, but after accidentally breaking an expensive vase, she is forced to join and becomes the Host Club's "dog." Having no interest in dressing up, she is nevertheless made to undergo a glamorous transformation and serve customers in the club disguised as a boy. The story's comedy comes not only from Haruhi being bossed around by the clueless club members and the wealthy young ladies who visit as customers, but also from the heartwarming tale of friendship among the members and how Haruhi, an ordinary student, gradually changes their ways through her actions. The ambiguous feelings between Haruhi and the male leads are another highlight!
