A Sinful Affair

At the crossroads of fate, they meet.

"What is your name?"

"I... don't remember..." Does forgetting truly mean a new beginning?

When everything returns to its starting point:

"Why isn't this sword half an inch closer?"

"Want to die? It won't be that easy!"

The long sword pierces his chest. He does survive, but... his martial arts are ruined forever.

Time passes, and when they meet again:

"Who are you?"

Is this an accidental loss of memory, or deliberate forgetting?

Falling from a great height, he clutches Chu Yunlei's clothes and laughs maniacally. "You think you've won? You haven't! When you forced him to take Gouqi and killed the child inside him, there was no way you could ever go back to the way things were! When Chu Yan flew into a rage, destroyed Xingyang, and slaughtered the whole city, your future together was sealed! And now that I'm dying by your hand, don't tell me he has already forgotten you. Even if he remembers, all he will feel for you is hatred. You have never won this game!"

Had he lost? Yes, he had...

As he watched that person thrust a sword through himself without hesitation, then carry his already-cold body out of sight, he realized for the first time that no matter how wretched he himself looked, it could never compare to the scars covering that person's heart.

He had lost. He had lost completely...

Ye Lan, if my death can earn your forgiveness, I will have no regrets!
