The Secretary in a CEO Romance

Yu Lengleng awakens to discover that she's the secretary in a domineering CEO novel. Unfortunately, she's the secretary to the second male lead.

In the end, the second male lead will lose the woman he loves to the male lead, the company will go bankrupt, and all the employees will lose their jobs. She'll have no choice but to leave the big city, too.

For the sake of her career, she immediately jumps ship to work for the male lead, and her monthly salary goes from 3,000 to 20,000. But faced with the over-the-top melodrama of the original story, she suddenly discovers a knack for making money.

One night, her male boss sends the heroine 999 roses flown in from France. The heroine refuses them out of spite, so the male lead tells his secretary, Yu Lengleng, to deal with them. After a moment's thought, Yu Lengleng takes the huge bouquet to the park and sells the roses for one yuan each.

In the end, the sound of 999 yuan arriving in her Alipay account makes for a lovely Valentine's Day.

Things like this happen all the time. Just as Yu Lengleng thinks she's going to make a fortune off melodrama and reach the pinnacle of life, her former boss, the second male lead, keeps pestering her.

"Yu Lengleng, why did you change jobs? Are you going to the Fu Group too?" the second male lead demands angrily.

"Lengleng, come back! Three people can't finish all your work. Please, I'm begging you. I don't have any time to go out and have fun," the second male lead complains.

And so she discovers that the second male lead can never appear in the heroine's line of sight. The heroine and the male lead are happily together, the stock price never wobbles, and no employees suffer. She can keep earning 20,000 a month, with a 20 percent annual raise, until retirement.

Everyone is happy.

The only thing is, the second male lead still bothers her from time to time, offering her a high salary to come back to work. That leaves her a little torn, that's all.
