I Really Wasn't Dating Myself

Synopsis:

After dying and transmigrating into the cultivation world, Ji Chengyue makes a deal with the System to survive: he will become the golden finger grandpa for the protagonist of a small world, protecting him while he is still weak.

But then!

The System accidentally drops Ji Chengyue into the small world a thousand years before the protagonist is born.

And to make matters worse, a massive demon invasion of the cultivation world is underway.

"..." Ji Chengyue had planned to cultivate in seclusion until the protagonist of the small world was born. Now, staring at a small world on the verge of collapse, he falls silent.

So the sword immortal whom Ji Chengyue and the System spent countless hours creating sinks into the void along with the demon realm, suppressing it.

A thousand years later, with the System, forced to take human form, in tow, Ji Chengyue finally meets the protagonist of the small world.

But...

Why does the protagonist not only refuse his protection, but keep turning around to protect him instead?

On his path of cultivation, Yin Moxi meets a senior. The senior is kind and gentle, with profound cultivation. Everything about him is wonderful, except that he has a child with him.

More importantly, the child looks like the senior, but also like the legendary sword immortal Yin Moxi once saw in a secret realm.

Yin Moxi is stunned. Could that child be...

Note:

A selfcest story: the sword immortal from the past x the cultivator of the present.

No childbirth; the child is the System in disguise (for a reason).

A misunderstanding trope. They start out misunderstanding each other, but get together later.
