The Mute Beastman Who Came Knocking [GB]

[Sharp-tongued but soft-hearted tsundere heiress × insecure, pitiful mute beastman | Healing | HC fiction]

On the first day after moving to Haishi, Luo Ya ordered a batch of expensive companion dolls from a biotech company, hoping to make her empty new home feel livelier.

The staff who delivered them carried the beautifully wrapped boxes inside one by one. At the end, one of them pointed to an unidentified object covered in black cloth and told her with a smile that it was a free gift with her order.

Luo Ya pulled off the cloth. Inside a narrow, rusted iron cage, a dog beastman lay curled up, barely alive. He hunched over in pain, his hands and feet bound in shackles and fastened to the bars, leaving him unable to move at all.

His pale skin was covered in shocking whip marks. His dog ears and tail were exposed, each fitted with a heavy iron ring that had torn open the skin and left thin trails of blood. It was obvious he had had an owner before.

Luo Ya stood there in shock. Several minutes later, she angrily took out her phone and called the biotech company.

Who wanted this lousy free gift?

But they told her free gifts could not be returned. If she didn't want it, she could just take it to the nearby recycling center, where someone would dispose of it.

Luo Ya was furious.

What kind of joke was this? She was the eldest daughter of the Luo family, a noble descendant of the royal family.

If she was going to keep a beastman, she would keep the finest, most imposing wolf beastman. There was no way she would keep a piece of junk like this.

Absolutely. Not. Possible.

[Reader's Notes]

1. The male lead is pure in body and heart. He has only ever been intimate with the heroine, but he was horribly abused in the past and has serious psychological and physical trauma.

2. A sweet, healing romance focused on feelings. Everything in the plot serves the romance, with plenty of author-created worldbuilding.

3. The male lead's muteness will be cured later.
