Disguised as a Sword, Luring Them into a Trap

Hello, everyone. You know Futsu no Mitama, right? Also known as the Futsu Sword, it is one of Japan's Three Sacred Swords.

It has nothing to do with me.

>

Buliu is a man, a mutated incubus who feeds on malice. He naturally attracts the dark thoughts that arise in the hearts of those around him.

Due to the government's lax oversight, cases of corruption and disappearance have been happening one after another, so the government decides to conduct a sting operation.

With permission from the spirit of Futsu no Mitama and the government, he enters troubled citadels under the identity of the Futsu Sword to investigate and gather evidence.

His job is to:

recite the Futsu Sword's grand entrance line with all the elegance of a clear moonlit sky, feast on the malice his targets show openly or hide, become battered and gravely wounded, then return to the government by shattering his blade and report on the situation.

He never lets a corrupted citadel that harms sword warriors or its master go unpunished.

For Buliu, this place is practically paradise!

"It's okay. Everything will get better."

After eating his fill, Buliu gave the other sword warriors a gentle smile and dutifully recited his blade-shattering line.

"Please keep holding on... Maybe something good will happen tomorrow."

Damn it, stop trying to keep him from shattering his blade! If he doesn't shatter it, how is he supposed to return to the government and report on this citadel?!

The government has introduced a new sword warrior, the Futsu Sword. Countless masters who failed to summon him are crying their eyes out on the forums.

[Why does everyone who gets the Futsu Sword fail to cherish him?! So jealous. Someone take in this heartbroken Futsu Sword!]

[Is our little Buliu cursed to break his blade every time?]

[I'm signing up to take down corrupted citadels. I don't ask for much. If the Futsu Sword is still in the citadel, please give me first dibs on taking him in...]

[I swear I'll give the Futsu Sword a happy, complete life! (Sobbing)]
