After Being Born into the Belly of a Villainous Boss in a Horror Game

Zong Li had recently become obsessed with a horror game. It was pretty fun, except that the monsters loved jumping out in your face. He was often scared half to death, but he was the sort of gamer who was bad at games yet loved playing them.

Whenever he played a game, he had to collect every ending. For some reason, though, hardly anyone seemed to play this one, and he couldn't find a single walkthrough online.

So he spent ages trying to grind his way through the game.

Hard work pays off. Just as he reached the final stage, he thought he could grind through it the same way he had the others. But after dying for the 999th time, Zong Li finally understood how this game worked: it was never going to let him finish.

In a fit of anger, he got a little angry. Looking at the record of his 999 deaths on his phone screen, he decided to give it one last try. If he died again, he'd stop beating his head against the wall. Since he already knew he couldn't clear the game, he might as well save his time for the warm embrace of another game.

But when he opened the game again and confirmed his 1,000th attempt, his phone screen went black, and a dazzling vortex appeared on it.

Before Zong Li could react, the vortex sucked away his consciousness.

When he woke up again, he had one piece of good news and one piece of bad news.

The good news was that he was still alive.

The bad news was that he had been reborn in the womb!

And not just any womb: he was inside the final boss from the last stage of the game he had been playing before he lost consciousness!

Zong Li was at a loss. The final boss might be handsome, but he was most definitely a man!
