On the night Tokyo Jujutsu High's first-year student and cursed spirit manipulator Geto had a thoroughly satisfying fistfight with a male classmate, he was latched onto by System 572, which called itself "Boss, this time we'll definitely get the best ending."
572 claimed it had come to this world to collect energy. As long as Geto was willing to share a little of the power from the cursed spirits he exorcised during their adventures, it could help him and Geto get the best ending, one so good even a dog could make it through.
Geto: ? Are you insulting me?
Honest and brave young Geto doesn't want to rely on outside help. After all, 572's abilities are way too twisted. It wants him to collect items belonging to people around him, things that can be talked about, and then turns them into "collectibles" that give Geto bonuses.
Geto: That's so messed up. I won't...
[The busted shades Six Eyes tossed aside: While carried, increase the Defense of every party member by 25%]
The next day, Geto grits his teeth and stuffs the shades into his pocket before "sparring" with his male classmate in martial arts class. His classmate starts yelling in pain as they fight.
Gojo: Did you spend the night in a freezer or something? You're so hard! My hand hurts from hitting you!
The appeal of stats peeks out, if only a little, to the primitive Geto.
Geto: I'm a pervert. (Cheerfully)
Gojo has recently noticed that his new best friend has gotten a little strange.
He fusses over Gojo and is always offering to carry things for him. Sometimes he even brazenly asks for some pointless little object. Once, Gojo happened to pass his best friend's room and accidentally lifted the cloth covering a display case. Inside were all the things Geto had once asked him for, arranged neatly like some kind of collection.
Honestly, it's a little creepy... But Gojo suddenly realizes: Suguru likes me!
Lord Gojo wastes no time making a bold move, but Geto looks a little troubled. "...The appeal of stats is too strong, Satoru."
An invitation to join the party arrives, and Gojo discovers a whole new world.
On the Shinjuku battlefield, after the Six Eyes falls in battle, the King of Curses sees a pair of faintly glowing eyes through the lingering smoke.
Those eyes, without a doubt!
...Wait, why is there another pair?
When the smoke clears, the two people standing there are
King of Curses: ...
Where did these two guys, covered in rags, come from?
The high schoolers who've already secured the best ending cheerfully say, "Yes! My turn to play! Let's smash our way through the ending!"
● Gojo/Geto pairing. No breaking up the pairing, reversing it, or trolling.
● Low-fat power fantasy, with an obviously huge golden finger and not-so-tight logic.
● OOC and lots of personal headcanons. No unsolicited advice, thanks.
● A roguelike demon-slaying-inspired work. It may be revised before the story begins.
