Also titled Grandmaster
[Warm, shameless, favored son of heaven, charming and beloved by all grandmaster bottom] × [Cold-faced, cute, deceptively innocent monster disciple top]
After being born into the world of The BL Dragon Protagonist Training Plan, Yan Heng follows the dragon protagonist's plot and romance to the letter, eventually rising to become a grandmaster revered for generations. Just as he's about to undergo tribulation and return home, the Heavenly Dao informs him:
He's not the dragon protagonist. The real dragon protagonist hasn't even been born yet.
Yan Heng: ?
Yan Heng: Then what about my career arc? My romance arc...
Heavenly Dao: Um, I guess you'll have to wait for him to inherit them.
With that, a bolt of tribulation lightning knocks Yan Heng unconscious. When he opens his eyes again, a hundred years have passed and the world has changed.
Yan Heng is lying inside a ring when he's awakened by a frail, helpless child, low as mud and bullied by everyone.
Looking at the face that's eighty percent identical to his own,
Yan Heng slowly manages to form a single: ?
*
Damn Heavenly Dao! If you can't raise me, how is it supposed to work to raise the mysterious little side account you don't even know who you had with?!
That's such a double standard!
Yan Heng fumes helplessly, then resigns himself to raising the little side account. He expects to face a little tyrant who's a carbon copy of himself, but...
The dragon protagonist turns out to be surprisingly easy to raise.
He follows instructions, doesn't cause trouble, respectfully calls him "Grandmaster" when being proper and sweetly calls him "Daddy" when being affectionate. He's so well-behaved that Yan Heng can't help but adore him.
Apart from always climbing into his bed at night, eating his leftovers, and mixing his underwear with Yan Heng's, he's the best child in the world.
Yan Heng even starts to feel reluctant about putting him through a romance arc.
The day he sends the boy off to marry is the most dreamlike day in Yan Heng's memory.
It's also the most terrifying.
"Grandmaster."
A flirtatious laugh brushes close against his ear.
A blood-smeared cheek presses affectionately into his palm. Yan Heng's pupils tremble. The corner of his eye catches nothing but corpses. All three grooms are dead, their bodies mutilated beyond recognition.
Before him, his most obedient child kneels respectfully as always, an unnerving madness spilling from his desire-filled, smiling eyes.
Fangs brush his fingertips through a blood-red veil. Looking at the face that's eighty percent identical to his own, Yan Heng hears him ask:
"Why did you throw Little Wolf away?"

"He shaped me. He taught me. His blood runs in my veins, and I look like him. In this world, only he and I belong together by all rights. Only he and I."
1. A pseudo father-and-son relationship and pseudo selfcest. The top is both a dragon protagonist and a monster. There is another reason he looks like the bottom.
2. In the early part, their dynamic resembles a dragon protagonist and the old man inside his ring. In the middle, the top will personally reshape the bottom's body and bring him back to life.
3. This is a self-indulgent, melodramatic story. Everyone is twisted. The only difference is whether they show it openly or hide it! Everyone in the story loves the bottom, regardless of gender, whether they're human or otherwise, or whether they fly through the sky or swim in the water. They all love him!!!
4. Yes, that includes the three disposable husbands.
5. The author is a bottom's devoted fan.
6. The bottom has an especially outrageous fake pregnancy plotline.
7. The end result is a one-on-one pairing. The bottom is a cat-faced beauty. Everyone, everyone, including the official partner, cannon fodder, disposable tops, and even random passersby, will find themselves unable to resist devouring him, and they'll all get the chance. From forceful kisses to hand-holding, he's a very easy-to-devour cat.
8. I'll add more content warnings if I think of any...
