Inferior Male Zerg, Top-Tier Predator

Hector, the empire's arrogant noble duke and male bug, was dead.

The killer was unknown. Hector died with his eyes open.

When he opened his eyes again, Hector had become Herr, a low-grade male bug in the slums, with an ugly female bug slaver pinning him to the ground and pulling down his pants.

The System awakened at the same time: [This System is a Zerg Predation System. Earn rewards through predation to level up and grow stronger.]

Herr bit down on the slaver's wrist. Blood poured out, and he received a random reward, successfully taking the slaver down.

Herr: I used to be so picky about food. Eating like this... Ugh!

System: [Dear Host, when the target is a high-level female bug, kissing and gentle biting also count as predation, and the rewards are doubled.]

Born in the slums, with a drunk female parent, a missing male parent, and a disabled younger brother who was a sub-female bug, Herr's life as a bug had gone wrong from the start. He was oppressed, bullied, and preyed on by every bug around him.

Herr, now: Come on, everyone who owes me, pay me back!

+++++++

When Herr saw Ryder, an S-rank male bug and former general, at the black-market dueling arena, he almost didn't recognize him.

He and Ryder had once been bitter enemies in the political arena. They'd hated each other for a long, long time...

Now Ryder was badly injured and barely clinging to life, yet he was still calling Herr's name. Just how much do you hate me?

Herr pursed his lips. The System had said high-level female bugs could help him level up, so he might as well take Ryder home first.

1. This is a fictional setting with no connection to reality. Please don't apply it to real life.

2. Males are revered and females are subordinate. Females are powerful and fierce, while males have pheromones and mental control.

3. Everything is governed by rank and strength. High-ranking SSS individuals look down on everything.

4. There are many original worldbuilding details. Please bear with me.

5. This is not written to favor tops or bottoms. All inequality in the Zerg world is wrong and should be criticized. The story advocates peace, harmony, kindness, equality, and mutual support.
