Dependency Disorder

Bo Yue first met Yu Wei in the hospital emergency room.

He'd swallowed a large quantity of pills with ice-cold beer. His friend found him and rushed him to the hospital right away, but his consciousness was already beginning to blur.

His stomach was pumped, and his life was saved.

But the first thing Yu Wei said after waking up was, "Why didn't I die?"

-

Yu Wei thought he was doing pretty well.

He had a stable job, friends who were at least decent on the surface, a place of his own, and savings.

If taking pills counted as a hobby, then he was quite devoted to it.

At first, Yu Wei took painkillers just to ease his pain.

At first the pain was physical, then it was mental, and eventually the painkillers themselves became the source of his pain.

But it didn't matter. When taking them on an empty stomach gave him a stomachache, he could just take some stomach medicine afterward.

He didn't know how he'd ended up like this. As long as he didn't die, that was enough.

He thought that way until his boyfriend cheated on him.

That day, Yu Wei read every message between his boyfriend and his lover. He saw his boyfriend say that he was crazy, liked taking pills, and hurt himself.

He broke down completely and decided to die.

He would use the "hobby" everyone disapproved of to kill himself.

Doctor top x physically and mentally fragile beauty bottom

The top has never been with anyone else; the bottom has. He and his ex-boyfriend had done everything.

The author's dark side is exploding. Dark, really dark, extremely dark. There's a revenge arc (literally: everyone who hurts Xiaoyuwei ends up dead).

Theme: Pay attention to mental health.
