It's Just for Show, So Why Are You Hiding?

A genuinely gay man with a genuine secret crush x a genuinely straight man who's genuinely putting on a show

In the year he most wanted to make a name for himself, Xin Yi took a role in a drama starring two men. The web series was filmed and released at the same time, and after filming, he still had to livestream to promote it.

His scene partner was an ordinary college student with solid acting skills and an incredible physique, but he was shy off-camera and never dared to look at Xin Yi.

"We're both straight, so of course it feels awkward after a kiss. But you still need to act professional, kid."

Xin Yi draped himself over his shoulder, let his hand wander, and hooked a finger around Li Kexing's full earlobe, laughing at him. "It's just promotion. What are you hiding from?"

Li Kexing lowered his eyes and didn't move, like a Buddha carved from jade.

They had a bed scene tomorrow, he thought.

He'd waited three years.

There was no need to rush.

A short story. I'll build up some advance interest before starting it.

Theme: What's real can't be faked.
