Yin You got married to a professional voice actor.
After the wedding, he diligently maintained his respectable identity as a university literature lecturer, never daring to let his husband find out about his secret identity: the explicit BL web-novel author 'Yinyou,' a sensation in the online BL fiction scene.
His husband, Shen Yuhuai, is a professional voice actor who has voiced the male leads of countless hit TV dramas that took the internet by storm. His voice is low, smooth, warm, and magnetic, enough to make Yin You's legs go weak.
When he writes, it feels as if the dominant leads in his stories have voices of their own.
"Teacher Yinyou, your work has been selected for an audio drama! We've chosen voice actors for the leads. Would you be available to come in and guide us as we make adjustments to the script?"
Wearing a mask and hat and completely disguised, Yin You arrived at the recording studio with only his bright, expressive eyes showing. He turned his head and saw his husband in the booth, sitting languidly with his legs crossed behind the microphone, passionately 'reading' lines from Yin You's novel.
He made the panting sound beautifully. It was as if Yin You had only just heard it last night, right beside his ear.
Shen Yuhuai looked up and met his husband's eyes. Well, well.

"You should've told me sooner that you liked this sort of thing, darling. I spent half a year holding myself back, afraid I'd scare you," Shen Yuhuai whispered seductively in Yin You's ear.
His voice beside Yin You's ear was husky and languid, sexy and alluring. Yin You was so thoroughly worn out that he couldn't get a word out. His whole body was damp and flushed pink as Shen Yuhuai tried every scenario from his novel.
"I can do eight different voices, from a young boy to a gentle young man to a mature, deep voice. I can handle them all. Darling, want to try what it feels like to be married to eight men?"
