Drinking the Morning Dew at Dusk [Paper Bride 9]

Zhao Muxun comes from a poor family. Quiet and taciturn, he lives with his uncle in a small town. The two make their living running Lao Zhao's AAA Appliance Repair. His gloomy wolf cut is really just because he can't afford a haircut. His apparent necklace is actually a nut threaded onto a piece of rope from a pair of pants. He's effortlessly nailed the industrial wasteland look that luxury brands have been chasing for years.

Maybe this is how he'll spend his whole life.

If he's still a virgin at thirty, he's destined to become a lonely old bachelor.

Then, in a dream, he meets an adorable girl with fair skin, big eyes, and an innocent smile. For a whole year, she appears in his dreams.

Zhao Muxun makes up his mind.

For her.

He'll be the man of her dreams.

He'd even agree to a ghost marriage.

Who knew the ghost marriage ceremony would go wrong, wiping away all the memories of his dreams? When he wakes up again, Zhao Muxun's head is spinning. He can't shake the feeling that he's forgotten something.

Zhao Muxun: Find myself a wife?

Theme: The courage to reach for one another is precious.
