[Journey to the West] She Has a Mountain God Temple

When Chu Jing woke up, her phone had run out of battery. She plugged it in, but nothing happened. The power was out. She looked up in bewilderment. Outside her window, verdant mountains rose one after another as clouds and mist billowed. There was no familiar road beneath her house, only a nearly primeval forest.

Where had she ended up? Had she transmigrated along with her entire house?

Chu Jing was frantic. She still had work to finish! What kind of place was this? Just then, the System told her she was at Zhongnan Mountain. It had run out of energy, and if its Host helped it earn more, it could restore power little by little, bringing back the water, electricity, and internet. Completing tasks and gaining faith points could even help her cultivate immortality.

Chu Jing's eyes lit up. What modern person hadn't dreamed of a spiritual qi revival? Even if it was a dream she had before working herself to death, she was willing to believe it.

Could cultivating immortality let her fly on a sword?

Yes.

Could she live forever?

Yes.

Could she become invincible?

Yes.

She accepted the task with reverence.

She disguised herself as a mountain god temple, healing the sick and answering every prayer. The faith of mortals poured in without end, and people began calling her the Divine Lady. A few years later, she asked the System in confusion, "What's going on with the hundred thousand Heavenly Soldiers and Generals above my head?"

Host, don't look. The Heavenly Court is here to collect you. But don't panic. As long as you don't leave this door, the System's defenses will keep you safe. No one can do anything to you.

The Jade Emperor couldn't understand it. Had his subordinates really become so useless? They couldn't even take down a mountain god temple? If this person came to the Heavenly Court and started causing trouble, wouldn't she be even scarier than Bimawen back then? Where's Yang Jian? Go!
