At twelve, Jiang Gu Ling lost the postcard his mother had mailed from across the sea, while twelve-year-old Shirai Sakurami grew up alone.
At twenty-two, Jiang Gu Ling set out on a path that would change his life. At twenty-two, Shirai Sakurami was kept by her brother far from the turbulent undercurrents, though she had already spent a long time in the gray world.
“Even if I fly like a seabird toward the open sea, my hatred will not fade. Knowing it will one day disappear, I would rather burn myself to ashes.”
They both thought the other was doing well in the world of light. Then they met at a banquet, and he held out his hand to invite her to dance.
The white crow was born from undying fury. It was also a messenger of the gods, and one day it would bring the good news that the flames of revenge had finally gone out.

When Sakurami returned home at twelve and found her brother, she swore to herself that she would never let him become entangled in their mother's secrets. He would remain her dazzling, radiant brother forever.
But things did not go as planned.
At a certain banquet, in search of classified information, Sakurami, the White Crow hacker leader disguised as a frail girl, arrived and reunited with a rising intelligence expert in the underworld.
The elegant blond man in the crowd met the gaze of the seemingly delicate girl in the corner.
Shirai Sakurami, looking guilty: “Haha, I've heard so much about you.”
Amuro Tooru, gritting his teeth: “Likewise. It's a pleasure to meet you.”
I'm not very good at writing blurbs, so please bear with me. The story itself is fairly lighthearted, mainly about the wealthy, leisurely life of the heroine and her brother's fight against the Organization. I've given Zero's mother a complete backstory; she is the third most important character in this story. This is mostly to flesh out Zero's origins and the convictions that first set him on his path. There are lots of personal settings. The heroine's pairing is Yanagi Renji, but the sibling bond gets more attention. See the author's note in Chapter One for other details.
Theme: Take charge of your own life.
