I Found a Silly Fox

Mount Hua is rich in spiritual energy and famous as a blessed place.

The Taoist priests of the Mount Hua Sect are handsome and love little animals, so it is famous as a blessed place for that reason too.

Many little animals that have gained sentience are eager to go there.

Mu Jiu is a silly fox. After years of cultivation, her progress is slower than the rate at which she gains weight from eating a single chicken. The animals around her all tell her to go to Mount Hua.

Mu Jiu blinks her big eyes and goes, and on the way up the mountain, she even finds a handsome little Taoist priest.

The little Taoist is very handsome, and he seems to be very kind to her, too.

He gives her food and carries her, though he always likes to tease her.

Isn't it said that all the little Taoist priests of Mount Hua love small animals?

Mu Jiu's little head can't make sense of it. When she sees the handsome Taoist roasting another chicken for her, she drools and hurries over.

He Hanzhang is a fake Taoist. His family sent him here because he was too unruly, telling him to cultivate his character and become a good person.

He Hanzhang puts on a Taoist robe but still has no desire to be a good person. He kills someone, then finds a silly fox right afterward.

The fox isn't scared off by his bloodstained, menacing appearance. Instead, it comes over to fawn on him, licking the blood from his hand and even finding herbs to treat him with.

Doesn't it realize he's planning to butcher it and strip off its beautiful fur?

Still, since it's been so eager to please him, he can let it live for now.

He Hanzhang strokes its fox fur, then pinches its flesh, planning to fatten it up before killing it. He'll eat the meat, drink the blood, and make a hat from its fur to keep warm.

But the fox doesn't get fat. Instead, it gains human form, becoming a beautiful young woman.

Her eyes are big and dewy, making anyone want to tease her.
