Withdrawal

In the tenth year since Cong Yi and Zhong Jue grew up together, Cong Yi decided to start breaking his addiction.

Not to gaming or staying up late.

To Zhong Jue.

He wrote three rules in his notebook:

1. He doesn't belong to me.

2. I don't belong to him.

3. He doesn't know what I'm thinking, and I shouldn't let him know.

After that, Cong Yi lost count of how many times he tried to quit.

After graduating from middle school, he went traveling. When he came back, Zhong Jue hugged him, and Cong Yi relapsed.

During winter break in his first year of high school, he went back to his hometown. When he returned, Zhong Jue kissed him, and Cong Yi relapsed.

Later, he learned to keep his distance, only for Zhong Jue to show up outside his door in the middle of the night, clutching a pillow. Cong Yi relapsed again.

The last time, he finally left for good.

He went pro, played mid lane, and entered a closed-off world where Zhong Jue wasn't.

Six months passed. One of them lost ten pounds, and the other dropped out of school.

When Cong Yi came back, Zhong Jue clung to him and slept for twenty hours.

Cong Yi didn't move a muscle.

He had always known: Zhong Jue wasn't the one who couldn't live without him. He was the one who couldn't live without Zhong Jue.

Later, they won championship rings together.

Late one night, Zhong Jue bit his shoulder and said, "I wouldn't do this with anyone else. I know exactly what these feelings are."
