With no hope left for his life, Jian Ye goes to the river, deciding to finish the cigarette in his hand and then jump in and kill himself.
Suddenly, a voice speaks behind him:
“H-hello, I'm a street photographer. I-I'm making content for social media. Could I take a few photos of you?”
“Uh... Why do you want to take my picture?”
“Because I think you look very melancholic and handsome sitting here.”
Jian Ye's hand holding the cigarette twitches. He turns around and stares silently at the handsome young man standing before him with a camera.
“Sure. Go ahead.”
He puts out the cigarette, thinking that he can jump into the river after the photos are taken.

After taking Jian Ye's photos, Xia Shiqing is pleased with how they turned out. Clutching his camera, he asks anxiously:
“C-could I come take your picture again tomorrow?”
Jian Ye lowers his eyes, his expression dim as he quietly gazes at the photographer. He nods.
“Sure, but I have one condition.”
Xia Shiqing blinks nervously. “What is it?”
“Can I pursue you?”
“...Huh?”

Xia Shiqing finishes editing the video of his street photoshoot and uploads it to his social media account. When he wakes up, he discovers that it has gone viral.
Two million views and a hundred thousand comments. Everyone in the comments is shipping him with Jian Ye and begging for an update.
The little-known streamer has never seen anything like this. Xia Shiqing quickly tags Jian Ye's personal account and explains:
“This is Mr. Jian, who appears in the video! If you like him, you can follow him too.”
Viewers find Jian Ye's account, but the comments blow up even more.
“Holy crap, he's rich!”
“So the random guy you find by the river just happens to be a rich heir from Company A (dog face).”
“Streamer, just marry the rich guy already!!”
Seeing the comments flooded with “Get together, get together,” Xia Shiqing bites his lip, conflicted.
But he already has a child.
Basically, it's the story of a rich guy pursuing a single parent with a child.
