A hard-of-hearing queen and a playboy gong
Lin Jin is the gong.
*
Lin Jin took a drag from his cigarette, holding it between his fingertips as he looked at the man sitting across from him.
“But I let you sleep with me. That's already the greatest reward I could give you. What else do you want?”
Shang Zhou: “I want you, darling.”
“I already slept with you.”
Shang Zhou stared straight at him. “I mean, I want to date you.”
Lin Jin propped up his head. “Can't we just keep being friends with benefits? We both agreed to that from the start. How did you actually catch feelings?”
Shang Zhou: “But I... I really can't control how I feel about you anymore.”
Lin Jin said airily, “Then try harder to control it.”
*The gong is hard of hearing. His left ear has hearing loss, and he is completely deaf in his right ear. He wears hearing aids.
# The shou chases and chases and chases and chases and chases and chases the gong #
I can't come up with a blurb. Anyway, the dialogue says it all.
The shou is head over heels for the gong.
The gong: Why not just have fun? Why do you need a label?
The gong is completely carefree (I mean that as a compliment).
Also: This is marked as primarily told from the shou's point of view because, when the idea first came to me, I realized it might work well to use the shou's perspective to portray the playboy gong. But when I actually start outlining the story, the gong's perspective might show it better, so I may change it to primarily the gong's point of view when I start writing.
No matter whose perspective I use, the core idea is that I want to write a story about a playboy gong who does whatever he pleases.
