Summer Magic Academy is opening its doors again. Xiao Qi packs a bulging backpack, says goodbye to their family, and rides their self-modified flying car to the academy.
Who knew the car would break down halfway there? Xiao Qi and the car crash into a forest, where they also rescue a little chick and name it Guji.

The newly built chicken coop is unusually luxurious: its roof is made of pink lace, and the sturdy round coop, wrapped in slender wooden slats, is lined with the down from a magic goose's breast, soft and comfortable.

The usually lively campus suddenly falls eerily quiet. A mutated saber-toothed tiger appears and relentlessly chases Xiao Qi. Just as Xiao Qi is running out of strength, the little chick in their backpack leaps up and presses a spot on a tree stump with its claws. A secret passage opens beneath Xiao Qi's feet.
“Guji, how did you know there was a secret passage in the academy?”
The chick flaps its wings. “Guji, guji.”
