Lin Yan, an advertising designer who secretly changed jobs, is discovered by her supervisor. Before she can explain, the supervisor suddenly transforms into a monster!
"Welcome to the infinite planes. Please make your choice."
A cold male voice booms beside her ear. At the familiar subway station entrance, countless signboards float in the air. Lin Yan points at one of them. "I choose that one."
It's hard to find work in another world. Without starstones, she'll end up on the streets, and none of the shops along the road will take Lin Yan on.
A flyer drifts before her eyes: The Main God's Bookstore is hiring a librarian. Duties: organizing and cleaning books; experience preferred. Pay: five hundred starstones a day, with extra rewards for outstanding contributions.
Isn't this the same job she had in her original world?
Lin Yan cheerfully draws up a career plan for herself: lie flat and get by. Five hundred starstones will last her a hundred days if she lives frugally.
Her coworkers: Think bigger. Don't you want the award for outstanding contributions?
Holding a dark-matter machine gun and frantically firing off words through a brainwave translator, Lin Yan lets out a heavy sigh: The librarian's daily grind of working herself to the bone.
The Main God visits the bookstore, and all the employees get the day off. Lin Yan can finally take it easy for a day.
Shen Pei: Come with me. The Main God wants to see you.
Lin Yan puts down her snacks and drinks, uncrosses her legs, and stares with shining eyes. "The award for outstanding contributions?"
Shen Pei's eyes wander. He turns around and clasps his hands behind his back, facing away from Lin Yan. "Yeah."
[Novel Blurb]
What's it like to be your love rival's personal nurse?
Xiang Qun: It feels like a punishment and a reward at the same time.
The feeling was so strange that Xiang Qun had no choice but to open an account on a well-known Q&A app and post for help: They say the people here are knowledgeable and eager to help.
Question: What's going on if I'm really craving a man's body? The poster is male.
Reply 1: Poster, are you in love with him? Unrequited love won't get you anywhere. Make a move.
Reply 2: It's obvious the poster is a fake straight guy. You want his body and still don't know what that means? Are you here to brag that you got to see a hot body?
Reply 3: Exactly. Reply 1 was still being too tactful. You're falling in love!
Reply 4: Craving someone's body, [drooling]. Tell us more. Let me see just how delicious he is.
Reply 5: Does the poster think he's straight because he reacted after seeing the body of someone he likes?
Reply 6: Poster, did you really see what you say you did? I don't believe you. Send me some photos so I can judge. Make sure they're of the important parts, or I won't be able to tell.
Reply 7: I could hear the scheming from the person above even from overseas. As someone studying abroad, I'm very experienced with this. Poster, send photos, send photos.
Xiang Qun slapped his phone dark.
So, do I really like men?
