Wind and Grain

Xia He is a lively girl who loves studying, music, and everything she loves.

She's often grateful to have a friend who accepts her unconditionally. But this friend has gradually grown from a soft, adorable child who loved to act cute into a cold, expressionless person of few words, leaving her perplexed.

In their senior year of high school, the handsome, outgoing class president asks Xia He to meet him on the athletic field. She pushes his love letter back into his hands. "I'm not planning to date in high school."

He asks indignantly, "Then what are you and Cheng Feng?"

Cheng Feng never imagined he'd become a cold, expressionless weirdo who secretly loves to act cute, all because of Xia He, the blockheaded study addict!

It! Is! Her! Xia! He!

Maybe it's because whenever Xia He promises to do homework with him and asks him to explain the problems, she always figures out the answers herself at the last second before he can start. Or maybe it's because whenever they agree to go on an outing together, one more person, or even a whole group, always ends up joining them. At last, Cheng Feng became the person he is now.

In their senior year, behind the banyan tree on the athletic field, Cheng Feng heard her answer.

"Cheng Feng? He's a good friend. I told you, I'm not dating in high school."

Xia He turned and walked away. Two people were left heartbroken on the athletic field.

Back in the classroom, Xia He took out her locked pink planner and wrote a line: "The Wind-Chasing Plan: Day 118 of the Countdown."

Yes, chasing the wind means chasing that "wind," a certain someone's name.
