Li Xi was an ordinary little reporter.
He kept trying to remind himself of that.
He worked diligently and never slacked off.
At last, luck fell into his lap.
He was assigned to follow the investigation into a decades-old family massacre.
Massive exposure, massive traffic.
On his day off, he planned to visit his grandmother.
But Fang Xingzhi, the criminal investigation team leader in charge of the case, took a long stride and blocked his car door.
He smiled casually.
"Reporter Li, are you off work today?"
Li Xi tried to avoid him.
But the team leader wouldn't let up.
"Reporter Li, don't hide so far away..."
"Don't hide so far away..."
