[An Otherworldly Beauty Leader x A Pure, Innocent Student]

Li Shi'an is a second-year folklore student, as ordinary as they come.

He needs the credits, and with the scorching summer heat upon them, he wants to travel more and clear his head. So he and a few friends arrange a trip to a remote town in Northern Europe to escape the heat and explore the local customs.

But things don't go as planned. Their car breaks down after they arrive in Northern Europe, leaving them stranded in an endless stretch of tundra.

Luckily, they have enough supplies and communication equipment to get them to a suitable shelter.

As they trudge forward through the cold, unsure where to go, they stumble upon a group of people wearing antler ornaments attacking a man in a wooden mask.

He has a fit, athletic build, and the eyes visible beneath his mask are sharp and beautiful... but outnumbered, he's losing the fight.

Li Shi'an and his friends mean to stay out of it and slip away, but in the end, their conscience gets the better of them. They secretly toss stones to distract the attackers.

Acting on impulse, Li Shi'an rushes over, grabs the masked man, and runs with him

The next second, an arrow pierces his ankle.

Blood soaks through his clothes.

After being rescued, the man pauses and gives him a long, deep look. Then he leaves something behind and goes.

It is a sword tassel.

Night has fallen. They continue onward, and after an unknowable length of time, they finally find a place lit with bonfires and filled with dwellings like Mongolian yurts.

But the people there are taciturn, with Sky Wolf tattoos on their necks and sharp, hostile gazes.

They are escorted to receive what is called the "Divine Eagle's" rite of passage.

At dawn, they are brought to the largest tent, where the person ruling over them is waiting: the leader of this people,

Da La.

Asdala, a strange people who seem to exist apart from the world.

Their gazes stab into the visitors like tangible things. They expect the worst, but the tall, agile leader in a beast-bone mask merely raises a hand and sends them to comfortable lodgings.

He even makes a point of arranging a physician for Li Shi'an.

Li Shi'an looks up at the leader in confusion, but the people crowding around him block his view. He can only make out an exquisite sword wrapped in animal hide beside the leader.

There is no tassel on the sword.
