A Cat for Every New Recruit

Chen Xuanwei's talent is so poor it would make anyone who heard of it weep. After being shuffled from one place to another, she ends up at the most useless sect in the cultivation world. The entire sect has only three cultivators who are even remotely qualified to take on disciples.

The sect leader is too busy pestering the Sword Elder to take on a disciple.

The Sword Elder is too busy being pestered to take on a disciple.

The Medical Hall Elder is about to lose their medical license and can barely look after themself.

Seeing Chen Xuanwei laze around for three whole months after joining the sect, the sect leader finally has a change of heart and solemnly hands her a wonderfully intricate spatial artifact. "From now on, she is the master you have to look after."

Chen Xuanwei: "???"

Did you get that backwards?

Inside the spatial artifact is a tower of ingenious mechanisms, covered in seals.

A stunning beauty with red clothes and frosty-white hair lures Chen Xuanwei closer. Her diamond-shaped pupils widen, and Chen Xuanwei feels something fluffy brush across the back of her hand.

She looks down and sees a snowy-white tail poking out from beneath the beauty's vermilion skirt.

Chen Xuanwei: "You shouldn't meet someone too dazzling when you're young, or they'll play you for a fool like a dog."

Qing Yuan x Chen Xuanwei
