On the Exclusivity of Love

Lin Langning had been dating her boyfriend for three years. They had never had a single disagreement and were the model couple everyone in the neighborhood praised.

But Wen Xi, a mutual friend of theirs, thought their relationship was seriously messed up.

Specifically, Lin Langning's boyfriend did whatever she said and gave her whatever she wanted.

Even when Lin Langning did nothing at all, he practically wanted to die for her.

It was terrifying.

Wen Xi steered clear of the couple like they were poisonous snakes. After all, spend too much time with the wrong people and you become like them. He absolutely wasn't going to end up like her boyfriend, fawning over Lin Langning all day and losing his independence.

Until one day, her boyfriend came to him and said:

"Three million. Be my girlfriend's lover."
