The Real Heiress After Her Marriage of Convenience

Shen Qingheng had her fate changed twice in this lifetime.

The first time was at birth, when someone switched her identity. Later, she was sold into a pleasure house.

The second time came when she was twenty. Her family fell into decline, and someone arranged for her to be married off in another bride's place to the Pei family, where she was to bring good fortune to a sickly young master. Her husband died a year after their wedding, and her in-laws demanded that she be buried alive with him.

Shen Qingheng didn't want to die. She set her sights on Pei Jin, the person with authority in the Pei household. Becoming a co-wife was her only way to survive.

Pei Jin fell in love at first sight with a sickly beauty at a birthday banquet. He went to propose, but the person he brought home as his bride was someone else. He thought that was simply fate, until he returned from a military campaign and discovered that the sickly beauty had become his younger brother's wife.
