A Face-Obsessed Heroine

One day, Lu Zhaoying found an evil cultivator on the brink of death.

The evil cultivator was infamous for being wicked, beautiful enough to inspire pity, and tried to trick the righteous heroine into saving him with his wickedly handsome face.

As the beloved senior sister of a candidate to lead the righteous path, Lu Zhaoying hesitated for a moment.

Here's the thing.

First, she was a hopeless beauty lover.

Second, her junior brother, currently a strong candidate to lead the righteous path, was also young and handsome.

Lastly, Lu Zhaoying couldn't resist her instincts. She crouched down, patted the evil cultivator's wickedly handsome face, and sighed mournfully. "If you ever stop being as good-looking as my junior brother, I'll kill you for him."

The evil cultivator: ?

Lu Zhaoying, a legendary heroine, nearly starved to death in a refugee camp as a child. She was adopted by Lingfeng Manor, then, as a teenager, fled with her junior brother when the manor was attacked by enemies seeking revenge. As a young woman, she helped her junior brother reclaim the manor and clear its name. After a tumultuous and remarkable first half of her life, she returned at the age of twenty.

With her debt of gratitude repaid, she sheathed her sword. Uninterested in fame or profit, she was perfectly content to stay behind her handsome, promising junior brother, doing a fine job of being a laid-back Buddha who did nothing.

For a long time, even her junior brother believed Lu Zhaoying felt a complicated jumble of gratitude, familial affection, friendship, and love for him.

Only the evil cultivator had something to say about that: Not at all. She just likes good-looking faces.

"What else would it be?" Lu Zhaoying asked amiably.

A chaotic beauty lover who finished her deadline at the last minute, then contentedly slacked off
