Raising the Landlord's Dog to Become a Blogger

Dog-obsessed enthusiast 🐶 x a boss who's worse than a dog and not nearly as cute 🐕

After graduating, Fang Lubai worked as Huo Yunfeng's assistant for three years. Her boss was fussy and demanding, but she put up with it for the money. Eventually, she couldn't take it anymore.

Just as she was about to quit, Huo Yunfeng gave her a task: go to his place every day to look after his puppy.

The puppy wasn't a puppy at all, but a big dog named Cuicui. This Labrador was incredibly friendly, and instantly melted the numb heart of Fang Lubai, a worn-out office worker.

For the dog's sake, she put up with things a little longer.

She edited the videos of her daily dog walks into vlogs and posted them online. To her surprise, they went viral and brought in a handsome extra income.

Fang Lubai started going to her boss's house even more often.

When she unexpectedly learned that Cuicui was pregnant, Fang Lubai racked her brains every day to keep her boss happy, hoping he would give her one of the puppies. She completely failed to notice that her boss was looking at her more and more strangely.

Once the puppies were three months old, Fang Lubai finally got to take one home.

The next day, her boss invited her to dinner. The restaurant's food was awful and the portions tiny, and there wasn't a single customer there at lunchtime.

After the meal, they spoke at the same time.

Fang Lubai: "I want to quit."

Huo Yunfeng: "Let's get married."

Fang Lubai: "???"

"Wait, when did I agree to be your girlfriend?"

Huo Yunfeng frowned. "Didn't you say you were willing to be Cuicui's mom?"

Fang Lubai: "..."

She'd agreed to be a dog's godmother and almost got roped into marriage herself.

P.S. Sweet romance, happy ending. The title, names, and blurb may change before the story begins.
