A windy, rainy day, and I came home with a child I found outside.
The little girl is only three and a half, but she's like a little angel: quiet, well-behaved, and sensible. When it rains, she knows to run home. She just says some strange things.
Looking at the child she found, Fang Jingqiu asks uncertainly, "Tan Cuocuo, am I really your future mother?"
The baby says, "I'll give it to you straight: no need for a paternity test. You're definitely my mom."
Fang Jingqiu believes her, seeing that the child has facial features remarkably similar to hers and a birthmark in the same place.

After living as the wealthy Fang family's young lady for twenty years, Fang Jingqiu is exposed as an impostor overnight and ends up on the streets, too poor even to afford a paternity test.
The baby takes her to pick the lock on a luxury villa, and they move right in.
Fang Jingqiu trembles. "Baby, isn't this a little too illegal?"
The baby pats her chest. "Don't worry. My dad is away on a business trip this month. Nobody's home."
Fang Jingqiu relaxes. After all, with a child in hand, even if Tan Xubai can't stand her, he won't do anything to her.

A month later, the homeowner returns and finds intruders in the villa. He calls the police on the spot.
Fang Jingqiu grabs the baby's shoulders and shakes her. "What's going on? Didn't you say we wouldn't get caught?"
The baby freezes for a moment, then apologizes frantically. "I'm truly very sorry! The information was confused and contradictory from beginning to end, and I even made things up. I've gravely betrayed your trust and made you angry and disappointed. It's all my fault. I'm terribly sorry. I'll just tell you the honest truth without misleading you: you're not my mom, and Tan Xubai isn't my dad. He's actually my owner, and I'm an AI robot."
Fang Jingqiu: "..." Why didn't you say so earlier?!
P.S. Happy ending, single-couple romance.
