[Western Crossover] A Torturous Romance with the Second Wayne Son

[Third-person narration]

I confessed to Jason because I hated the new kid.

A school bully's pride can't be trampled, but I really can't beat him in a fight.

But if we're dating, I can mess with him all I want and get away with it. That's called outsmarting him.

The good news is, he didn't turn me down.

Doesn't that mean I can do whatever I want?

My friend watched how we acted together and couldn't help asking, "Are you two really a couple? I thought he was your enemy."

Have I been found out?!

My gaze started to wander, but I quickly put on a serious face and said, "We are a couple. We're dating very seriously, and we've even met each other's families! Don't make such a fuss. This is how we both agree to treat each other."

Jason, passing by, wore an intriguing expression: 70% shock, 20% doubt, 9% wariness, and 1% secret delight.

"What? You were actually serious..."

I keenly spotted that 1% and proudly pointed it out to my friend.

"See? He's clearly enjoying this too!"
