[Western Crossover] What's Wrong with Wanting to Be a Rich Heiress?

My husband is nearly fifty. He's fat, balding, and likes eating all kinds of disgusting, gooey things whose ingredients you can't even identify. The good news is, he's gay. Our marriage is just a transaction, and there's nothing wrong with that. He needs my minority status for his political ambitions, and I want to save up some gold coins so I can lie flat and enjoy my retirement. We came to a friendly agreement. But then he died, without any warning. The police found me and suspected I had killed him. I had no time to admire his handsome face or seductive blue eyes. All I could do was hysterically defend myself. "How was I supposed to know he was going to die that day? If I'd known, I definitely wouldn't have shared a room with him! He set me up!!" Pairing: Big Blue Bird The heroine is not a saint. If that bothers you, don't read. Blurb and title are provisional. Written on November 24, 2024. Theme: Never give up
