Whatever You Do, Don't Let the Family Head Find Out

A seemingly well-behaved but secretly mischievous maid x a cool and restrained but not desireless family head

The capital is on edge after a major incident in the Pei family: the young and handsome head of the family, Pei Shuo, was drugged, and someone took advantage of the opportunity to give him a thorough, forceful kiss.

As a maid in the Pei household, Xiang Xue has always been obedient and honest, and is deeply trusted by the family head. Naturally, she could have nothing to do with the incident.

Hearing the furious family head order that the daring culprit be found, even if they have to dig three feet into the ground, Xiang Xue can't stop her legs from trembling.

As a spy, if the family head finds out that she has been harboring improper feelings for him all along, she'll never be able to get close to him and complete her mission.

To clear herself of suspicion, Xiang Xue has a sudden inspiration and does many things that the culprit would never dare do again. She even offers advice and eagerly fusses over him.

After a while, her plan begins to work, and the family head stops obsessing over finding the culprit.

It's just that he looks at her more and more strangely.

Just as Xiang Xue is at a loss, she receives a letter telling her to leave the Pei residence.

Before she leaves, Xiang Xue becomes even more cautious.

Unexpectedly, Pei Shuo is drugged a second time.

Just as she eagerly peeks her face out from behind the screen in the bathing room, she sees the family head, who should be dazed and unconscious, staring straight at her with cold, dark eyes.

"You're dead."

But Xiang Xue is still alive and well.

Better than ever.
