Western Crossover: Damian's Kid and Jon's Kid Travel Back to the Past

Alfred Wayne and Karl Kent were sneaking around and messing with equipment in the Batcave beneath Wayne Manor when they accidentally touched something and both fell into an unknown universe.

"Oh... no. How are we supposed to get back now? Dad will worry about us."

Looking at the unfamiliar street and all the people coming and going, Alfred frowned, his little brows drawing together.

Karl's expression darkened. "You have no sense of direction. Isn't this Crime Alley?"

Alfred shot back, "Dad doesn't let me come here! Wait, Crime Alley..." He looked at him suspiciously. "How do you know this place so well? You must come here behind Uncle Jonathan's back all the time!"

Karl said, "Is that what matters right now? We need to get to Wayne Manor or the Fortress of Solitude!"

Alfred and Karl looked at each other and spoke at the same time. "Wayne Manor!" "The Fortress of Solitude!"

They both snorted and turned away.

"Who are you?"

A tall, broad-shouldered young man in a black leather jacket crouched on one knee atop a wall, looking down at them. His voice held a strange note.

A red helmet, huge build, cool as a mountain!

Alfred blinked, then cautiously stepped closer. He looked up at the man for a long moment before asking in a soft, excited voice, "Oh, excuse me, are you... Uncle Jason?"

"...?"

Jason Todd jumped down from the wall, a curious feeling stirring in his heart. His gaze swept over the other child, with black skin, green eyes, black hair, and a cool, almost irritable expression, then the pale-skinned, black-haired, blue-eyed boy looking up at him obediently, waiting for an answer. He could barely suppress a gleeful grin. "Come with me."

Before You Read:

1. The two kids have contrasting personalities. They are not a couple, just brothers.

2. No heavy angst. Past hurts have gradually healed with time, and the whole family is happy together.

3. Aside from the canon Superman and Lois pairing, there are no other romances.

4. Alfred is an alternate-universe counterpart of Damian's son from the comics. His name and appearance are the same, but everything else is the author's own creation. Karl is an entirely original character. This is fanfiction with original elements, so feel free to read without overthinking it.

[Apparently, I should leave a note to avoid duplicate ideas, but I forgot the exact date. This starts in late June.]
