The criminal investigation squad suddenly receives a love letter from a dead person. The person who delivered it, dressed in black, took every precaution to avoid being tracked. She insists the deceased definitely didn't die by suicide and wants the squad to investigate the case.
Shen Cike, the new captain of the criminal investigation squad, immediately launches an investigation, even as everyone else wonders whether this is a prank.
The deeper they dig, the more tangled and mysterious this love-letter case involving multiple parties becomes...
[Author's Notes]
1. Just one case, a short story.
2. The only romance in the entire story is between the deceased and their partner.
3. Set in a fictional world. Please don't compare it to reality.
4. This is a little practice run for a longer crime investigation novel I'll write later. ovo (The protagonist will still be the protagonist of this story~)
Theme: Catch all the bad guys!
