A Minister Beneath the Empress Dowager's Skirts

[Younger in body, older in mind]

Su Yuewan had a smooth life from beginning to end. She entered the palace at sixteen, was widowed at thirty-two, and became Empress Dowager.

The emperor was filial and found her a young, vigorous lover.

Her young lover came from a distinguished family and possessed an extraordinary bearing. His features bore a faint resemblance to the late emperor's.

That very night, she dreamed that the late emperor urged her to let go of the past and enjoy a second spring.

At first, Su Yuewan was a little afraid, but she gradually became captivated by his looks and gave him all her affection.

Then the man she had loved from afar in her youth returned to the capital, and Su Yuewan temporarily neglected her young lover.

That night, she dreamed of the late emperor again.

The emperor, dead for many years, thundered with rage: "Have I not treated you well enough? After all these years, you're still thinking about him!"

Su Yuewan jolted awake from the dream and met the clear, deep-black eyes of the person beside her.

He abandoned his usual respectful, humble manner and said with a faint smile, "Wanwan, isn't it enough if you have only me?"

What do you do when a real male ghost won't leave you alone? Shove him back into his coffin!
