Dual Cultivation Is for Two, Not Four

Ruan Xuelin, the Longya Sect's famously useless playboy, dreams of doing nothing but eating, drinking, and waiting to die.

Unfortunately, his father plays dirty. He seals Ruan Xuelin's cultivation with one palm strike and kicks him out of the sect.

Being broke, powerless, and without connections is bad enough, but just after leaving the sect, he's nearly devoured by the evil spirits of a haunted town. Luckily, Wen Ziyan saves him.

This man has unfathomable cultivation and a peerless face. Ruan Xuelin decides at first sight: he's not just going to cling to this powerful patron, he's going to sleep with him too.

After all, dual cultivation is the quickest way to boost one's cultivation. And the man's exactly his type. Two birds with one stone, an absolute bargain.

But when Ruan Xuelin sneaks into his bed in the middle of the night, he's kicked right back out.

Wen Ziyan sits up, draping a robe over himself, a smile in his eyes. "Little brother, your talent and bearing are far from impressive. You'd better seek a more suitable partner for dual cultivation."

Ruan Xuelin rubs his aching back and grits his teeth. "Just you wait. One day, I'll make you beg me to cultivate with you!"

What he doesn't know is that this seemingly gentle man was born without the seven emotions and six desires.

He can't fall in love, feel desire, or make an exception for anyone.

Ruan Xuelin does manage to cultivate other people's ways and sleep in other people's beds, though.

Later, Wen Ziyan blocks the doorway, his eyes bloodshot. The gentle expression he always wears has darkened. "Besides me, who else do you want to cultivate with?"
