The Top-Tier Star Boss Who Refuses to Undress Better Not Have Actually Been Crucified [Showbiz + Fantasy]

Anna's job requirements were simple: good pay, free time to write scripts, and a boss who wasn't too unreasonable.

Edmund Shaw met the first two perfectly.

An Oscar-winning actor, a Dior ambassador, and widely regarded as the easiest celebrity in all of Britain to work with: polite, punctual, remembered everyone's name, knocked before entering the office, and even apologized for arriving early.

He was just a little strange.

He never went shirtless, never ate of his own accord, and his social media was full of mysterious beauties whose surnames he wouldn't even share. His schedule had several "private" blocks that could never be touched. After analyzing a fight scene in the hallway frame by frame, the stunt coordinator concluded that "it didn't look acted."

Anna thought all of that was still manageable.

Until a Boeing 747 crashed in the skies over Alaska, a man with golden wings carried it back to the runway with his bare hands, and her boss calmly told her in the kitchen, "Yes, the man you saw that day was the Pope's brother."

Behind Hollywood's most respectable, mysterious top-tier star stood a secret organization with a history of three thousand two hundred years.

What did his assistant do?

Reply to Dior's emails, reject every shirtless ad concept, make sure he ate lunch every day, and write notes like, "The Guardian will ask about accents. Don't let him get his way."

And, on the day the laws of physics collapsed, come to work as usual.

(Note: The male and female leads are not a couple, not a couple, not a couple. Important enough to say three times! The female lead has no romance. No pairing means no pairing. The male lead's wife appears from the start, and they've been childhood sweethearts with an unbreakable bond.)
