The Evening Breeze Has Seen Her

Not 1v1, not a choose-your-love-interest story, and still mutual pursuit 🙇🏻‍♀️ (this one's exclusively about mutual pursuit)

A self-indulgent project 😋 I'll start it if it gets enough favorites ✊ If it's not your cup of tea, feel free to skip it.

Blurb:

Qiao Wan has been in the industry for ten years and has barely made it into the entertainment world's A-list.

But there's a saying everyone in the business knows: getting Qiao Wan to drink is harder than winning a major film award.

At every gathering, banquet, and business dinner, her glass is always filled with tea or water. She never touches a drop of alcohol.

Outsiders assume she's cool-headed and steadfast in her principles.

Only she knows the truth: she's a terrible drunk.

Once she drinks too much, she lets absolutely everything slip, and she won't remember what happened afterward.

The risk is too great. She won't take it.

Until she accidentally overindulges at a private dinner.

The next morning, she wakes up at home feeling sore all over, covered in suggestive marks, and with a video on her phone of herself saying she was willing and wouldn't hold anyone responsible.

Who filmed it? Who gave in? Who slept with her?

Looking over the dinner guest list, she realizes there is more than one suspect:

Her elegant, high-born former Best Actress; her arrogant, sharp-tongued rival actress; her cool, taciturn boss and collaborator; her considerate childhood friend, a singer who always takes her side...

And her stepsister-manager, from her blended family, knows the passcode to her bedroom door too.

Later, Qiao Wan gets to the bottom of it.

Everyone had visited that night.

The suggestive marks on her body came from different people.

Theme: Never stop searching for the truth!
