Gravity-powered clingy younger gong x indulgent, tolerant, flirtatious older-brother-type shou
(Probably my third book in line; currently drafting Chapter Seven.)
When his neighbor girl dies mysteriously, Cen Yu is dragged into a criminal investigation. During the case, he meets someone.
For this person's sake, Cen Yu deliberately reveals that he can form contracts with certain "Anomalies." He uses this ability to join the Bureau of Folklore Research, which has been watching him for some time, and take part in more missions involving Anomalies.
But this person seems to dislike both his ability and him. No matter how much Cen Yu tries to please him or do things for him, nothing works.
"Actually, I've always wondered... Cen Yu, why are you so good to me?"
"There's no particular reason... But, Shang Yu, if you want it, I'll give you anything."
"All right. Then give me your life."
"...You can take it whenever you want."
Cen Yu owes one person a great deal. He's carried his guilt for more than two thousand years. Their tangled history of favors and grudges can't be settled with a single life.
He wants to make it up to him, at least a little.
One-on-one, both chaste
Jealous, love-brained gong x affected, shameless shou
Content notes:
1. I still love entanglements from past lives.
2. The gong appears fairly late. Feel free to make your own guesses.
3. Includes mistaken identity.
