Breaking News! The 5A Scenic Area Is Arguing Again

After being cheated on by her scumbag boyfriend, Lin Zhixia went to a tourist attraction to clear her head. Suffering from heatstroke and low blood sugar, she was resting against a wall when she suddenly heard a voice.

"Do you think that human over there is dead? Why isn't she moving?"

After discovering she could hear the voices of historic sites, Lin Zhixia's life became a lot more interesting.

"I'm right next to the Forbidden City. Why does everyone visit it first? I'm not bad either!" That was a certain prince's mansion.

"An emperor lived here, while a prince lived there! People come here on purpose, and go there just because it's nearby!" That was a certain Forbidden City.

"When will I ever get my former beauty back?" That was a certain garden.

"Stop coming here to look for wild geese! Why don't you go to Phoenix Terrace to look for phoenixes instead?" That was a certain Wild Goose Pagoda.

History suddenly came alive before Lin Zhixia.

Note: This idea came to me while I was standing in the Summer Palace. I suddenly wondered: if historic sites could speak, would one destroyed by a great fire have been crying out in pain for two hundred years?
