As the Ghost King of the Underworld, Xie Ci is not only inexperienced at management and turning the underworld upside down, but he also can't beat that half-baked ghost hunter!

Terrified, he runs away in the middle of the night. He begs the Earth God and the God of Wealth for help, then finally drinks Granny Meng's soup and escapes back to his own underworld to be its Ghost King again.

People don't fall for the same person twice, but Xie Ci is a ghost, so he can.

A few months later, he comes across the man's livestream again, sees his hands, and falls in love with him at first sight all over again.

That day, the man asks him through the screen, "When are you coming home?"

Trembling, Xie Ci swears he will never set foot in the world of the living again.

But a few days later, he is demoted and sent up to the human world to catch ghosts because of the havoc caused by evil spirits.

Later, the man locks him in a room and grits out, "Are you going to run again?"

Xie Ci shakes his head frantically. He barely manages to force out one word before it's shattered to pieces: "No..."

Inside, Xie Ci is screaming: Run! I have to run! If I don't, then... [TCT]

And then Xie Ci escapes back to the underworld again. He thinks that as long as he doesn't go back up, he can get away from the man. But the man comes down to the underworld to catch him!!!

Sitting in the Ghost King's chair, Xie Ci sobs, "Waaah... D-don't you have ghosts to catch?!"

The man smiles and kisses his ear. "You're the one I'm here to catch."

Basically, it's a story about the shou who takes the initiative to flirt with the gong, only for things to get out of hand. He tries to escape back to the underworld, but keeps getting caught and brought back.
