In the dim private room, Luo Xun had buried half his face in his hoodie.
His long, narrow phoenix eyes were half-lidded, his gaze fixed on the matte charcoal tabletop.
Leaning forward, the boy flipped open the dice cup with his long, nimble fingers.
Laughter erupted around the room as someone egged him on.
“Brother Luo, truth or dare?”
Luo Xun leaned back against the sofa, the corner of his mouth lifting with a hint of wildness.
“Dare, obviously.”
After hearing the dare, he laughed and cursed.
Then he crooked a finger and changed his WeChat profile picture to the File Transfer Assistant with two taps.

Luo Xun had just showered and stepped out of the bathroom when his WeChat notifications started pouring in.
He grew a little impatient.
A cartoon cat avatar kept bombarding him on his lock screen.
Frowning, he opened WeChat.
Lan Qiao: Aaaaah! Luo Xun's pecs are seriously a gift from the gods. One feel and I'd be satisfied for days.
Luo Xun searched his memory for a while before he could place her.
She was the English class representative, seated diagonally behind him.
But...
He remembered her as a pretty shy girl.
Over the next two days,
Luo Xun stared at her increasingly bold messages and fell deep into thought.

Later on,
Luo Xun ran into the little cat again in the stairwell. He called to her softly.
Lan Qiao raised her head, the tears in her eyes not yet dried.
He braced one forearm against the wall, slowly stubbed out his cigarette, casually lifted his loose hoodie to reveal his lean waist, then bent toward her with a brazen, wicked smile.
“Good student, let me make you feel good. Don't cry, okay?”
Lan Qiao swallowed, her ears burning red.
