The Man Who Brings a Dog to the Grave

Ji Laizhi saw the man who brought a dog to the grave every day.

Sometimes he carried wine, sometimes he brought flowers.

He often sat there all afternoon,

either crying with his arms around the headstone

or smiling as he leaned against it.

Ji Laizhi thought he must be a man who loved deeply.

But it wasn't until that dog of a man pinned Ji Laizhi beneath him, leaving him unable to move,

that Ji Laizhi realized

Shu Fei wasn't just not the devoted type,

he wasn't even human...

In short, this is the story of a low-ranking Black Impermanence helping his partner, White Impermanence, elope with the City God, accidentally scattering their ashes, getting suspended without pay and sent to the human world to reflect, and incidentally seducing a clueless guy.
