A Brief Parting, Then Mountains Between Us

Blurb: None yet

Using the final passage of Turtle's Notes as the blurb:

The turtle was suddenly struck by poetic inspiration. As the auspicious cloud carried it toward the upper realm of the Flowing Light Pavilion, it spoke solemnly: "By the Yan River, beside the Tangchi Terrace, the Jade Spirit basks in the sun."

The turtle was a Jade Spirit to begin with, so it wasn't being shameless.

The Immortal Lord held the turtle's hand and replied, "Before the window, between the books and the desk, a brief parting brings us across mountains once more."

Flower-patterned turtle Bie Yunyan (top) x Immortal Lord Lian Chongtai (bottom)

Please give our "Yantai" couple lots of love!

Names decided (May 8, 2026): Bie Yunyan × Lian Chongtai

Before You Read:

★ I previously mentioned in () that I'd write a turtle-person story. I deleted that idea, but it came up again later, so I decided to make it a short story.

★ Turtle top, Immortal Lord bottom.

★ I haven't decided on the main characters' names yet. In my idea, the Immortal Lord calls the top "Little Bie." The rest are undecided.
