The Bun Shop

Synopsis: Receiver’s perspective (second version, tentatively dated 26/07/08)

There’s never been a shortage of trash cans on Wenshan Road. Jiang Ran has always hated running into inspectors, but on this particular day he closed his stall early. Carrying a bucket of slop, he ambled toward the trash depot in the alley to dump it.

He didn’t run into any inspectors, but trouble found him all the same. He stood at the mouth of the alley, looking at the poor soul being bullied on the ground, wondering whether he should take on this burden.

At one point, he met the eyes of the person being beaten up. He saw the clear, bright gaze in them.

Jiang Ran has never been a kind man, but running the baozi shop all by himself isn’t a solution either. He might as well find himself a little employee.

At first, Jiang Ran called him Little Poor Thing. Later, Little Bun took its place.

After that, he began calling him Xiao Qiu in a low voice.

Jiang Ran picked him up, so he should stay by his side, from that day onward, forever and ever.

[Note: The name is Qiu Yueming.]

CP: Cheerful, lovable underdog seme x rugged uke (I think this time I really am writing a rugged uke. Brother Jiang doesn’t own a field, so he can’t be a farmer.)

Before You Read:

★The story should be fairly wholesome. Qiu only suffers this once.

★One-on-one, younger seme, both are virgins, no switching, no love triangles, no reader-insert. A match made in heaven, a sweet and healing story.

★The character card System was chosen to bring out the themes of "cuddling" and "work."

★Wholesome and uplifting. The intimacy is mostly played for laughs. Xiao Qiu and Brother Ran will do their utmost to make you smile!

★This author has no intention of being a dream third party for either of them. Thank you.

★I don’t like either of them being possessed by someone else. They are irreplaceable to each other.
