Whoever Wants Your Late-Blooming Love Can Have It

By day, I'm the most trusted assistant to the crown prince of Beijing's elite circles. By night, I'm his secret lover.

He's insatiable and doesn't know how to be gentle. He leaves me battered and bruised, and because I don't obey him, he deliberately punishes me by making me drink with sleazy old men who want to take advantage of me.

After an accident, I lost my memory and developed a rare illness: I vomit whenever I see him.

The arrogant man kneels in the snow, lowering his noble head. He calls my name over and over, begging me not to leave.

Rich in old-school melodrama, full of angst. The scumbag pursuer chases his lover but fails to win him back. An experiment in first-person narration.

Theme: Cherish those who love you
