After My Fake Death Failed

In the twelfth year of Jiayou, Prince Duan Lu Ce helped his full brother, the deposed crown prince, ascend the throne and set the realm back on the right path.

By imperial decree, the Prince Duan's household was tasked with tracking down the rebel king's remaining followers in the city. Lu Ce personally led his troops to capture Wen Yun, a former fifth-rank censor who had faked his death and escaped.

Lu Ce and Wen Yun had known each other since childhood and had once been inseparable. But after they turned seventeen, Lu Ce grew distant from him for a reason, though they remained friends.

Later, Lu Ce aided his full brother, while Wen Yun joined the Prince of Qi's faction. The two became strangers to each other.

Now Wen Yun had fallen into his hands. As they waited in the Prince Duan's residence for the drug that had faked Wen Yun's death to wear off, Lu Ce came up with a hundred ways to deal with him.

But when Wen Yun woke, everything changed.

Wen Yun had lost his memory.

Wen Yun... was a woman.
